A school assignment with a challenge to create a brand identity for a non-existing chocolate company.


Harmonious. Sensual. Precious.

To emphasize Cioccolato’s origin in Ferrara, which is known as the City of the Renaissance, as well as its rich history as one of the Italian organic Chocolatiers during the Romantic era, the new identity system has to carry a message that Cioccolato is not just an ordinary chocolate, but a work of art. To combine the Renaissance’s rationality with the Romantic’s sensuality, the harmonious golden ratio was used throughout the new designs of Cioccolato concurrently with the ornate and organic feel of each hand-drawn design element.
